Service providers and sharing
We may share information with companies that help us operate Thrift Bounty, including providers of application hosting, data storage, Apple or Google authentication, notifications, error reporting, security, and test-payment infrastructure. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us and subject to their applicable agreements and privacy practices.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party targeted advertising.
Payments and shipping
Payments, shipping, and seller payouts are not active in the current release. No real purchase, card charge, tax transaction, shipping-label purchase, or seller payout should occur through Thrift Bounty. Do not exchange payment or shipping details with another user outside the app.
If real payments are enabled later, we will update this policy before processing those transactions.
Data retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Thrift Bounty, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information in the iPhone app under You → Private settings → Delete account, or by emailing privacy@thriftbounty.app if you cannot access the app. We may retain limited information when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or legitimate recordkeeping. Content shared with other users may remain in their records or communications after your account is deleted.
Your choices
You can update certain profile information in the app, download a copy of your account data while signed in, control notifications through your device settings, choose what content you submit, stop participating and uninstall the app, or request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To make a privacy request or obtain records beyond the self-service export limits, email privacy@thriftbounty.app.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No application, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please avoid submitting highly sensitive information that is not needed to use the marketplace, receive support, or resolve a safety issue.
Children’s privacy
Thrift Bounty is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
